Jenny Muncaster graduated from Winchester School of Art in 1988. She works from The Colour Factory Studios and Gallery in Winchester, which was set up with fellow artist Linda Miller in 1994.
Jenny’s paintings are exhibited and sold in galleries nationally.Her unique food and wine paintings are featured nationally across Hotel du Vin and Brasserie Blanc Restaurants UK.
Jenny Muncaster’s paintings possess a naïve charm and are both quirky and colourful, imbuing a sense of joie de vivre. She works on canvas or gesso board in acrylics combining colour and technique to produce vibrant, energetic, lively paintings. Her work includes memories of summertime with windows onto the English coast, special bottles of wine and favourite ingredients for the preparation of wonderful dishes.
Jenny illustrates for magazines and book covers as well as producing site-specific artwork for architectural projects, hospitals, theatres, restaurants and hotels.
Jenny takes private commissions for paintings on all sorts of themes including still life, food and wine as well as landscape and architecture all produced in her own inimitable colourful style.
Jenny’s recent gallery exhibitions include; The Wykeham Gallery, Stockbridge, Mc Allister Thomas Fine Art, Godalming, The Minster Gallery, Winchester and The Store Street Gallery, Bloomsbury.
